In the hidden corners of my mind, in the secret
places They haven't stolen yet, I can hear you
crying.

Crying for all that we've lost.

But I can sense something else in your tears
too...no, it's *someone* else.

There's someone else you're crying for besides
me, someone else who needs you even more than
I do right now.

Someone who needs you to be stronger than you've
ever been.

Oh...my...God....

I can hear it now too, just as clearly as I can
hear you.

I can hear its tiny body fluttering around deep
inside you.

I can hear its delicate heart beating fast and
steady with yours.

I can hear it and I can feel it in every part
of me.

I can hear it, Scully.

Someone else for us to fight for, for us to
believe in.

Someone else for us to love.
